Warriors of God - 神様のために闘う戦士たち

On Mondays, I feel that we are "warriors of God" fighting for Him in our daily lives.
I LOVE Sundays because I can worship God and serve Him with awesome sisters and brothers at church!!! I LOVE the fellowship with them, too!!
Because Sundays are so much fun and filled with beautiful experiences with the Holy Spirit, I always think of the Sunday on Monday morning especially.
Though we gather in one place for one common purpose to worship God on Sundays, each of us has our own life, and work or study in different places on weekdays. When I think of the beloved sisters and brothers while walking towards my office, I feel that each of us is a warrior for God.
Though actually God is fighting for us, He fights through us.

We are given the "Armor of God" (Ephesians 6:10-20) to spread the Gospel and sow seeds in people's hearts everyday. We are given the "authority" from Him as we are His children.

Sometimes, I feel myself so small and weak or not confident to do His Will. However, He promised us that He would be with us always and never fails us (Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5). Let's rely upon Him and be empowered to fight for Him! The Victory is waiting!!!

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. 19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. (Ephesians 6:10-20)

毎週月曜日の朝はいつも、楽しかった教会のことを思い出し、私たち一人ひとりは神様のために闘う戦士のようだと思う。
毎週日曜日は教会ですばらしい兄弟姉妹たちと神様を賛美し、祈り、交わりの時を楽しみ、聖霊様のシャワーをたくさん浴びてRefresh & Rechargeができる。
そんな最高な日曜日が終わり、また月曜日がくる。
オフィスに向かう途中、いつも思うことは、「私達ひとりひとりはそれぞれの生活があり、それぞれの場所で勉強や仕事をしている。こうしてみんなそれぞれの場所に向かって歩いているのか。。。」
そのとき私は、私達は神様の鎧をつけた（ガラテヤ書６：１０－２０）、彼のために闘う戦士のようだ！と思う。
戦いは私たちのものではなく、神様のものなんだ（第二歴代誌２０：１５）けれど、神様は私達を通して闘う。だから、彼によって強められ、彼によって与えられた平和の武器（愛の武器）を身につけ、力づよく一歩一歩それぞれの職場や学校（＝戦場）に向かって歩いているようだと思う。そうして彼のために闘う権威を与えられているから。

ときどき気持ちが弱くなったり、神様の望まれることができないと自信がなくなったりもする。でも、神様は約束してくれた。「彼はいつもいっしょにいてくれる。ぜったいに置き去りにはせず、勝利をくれる！」（マタイ２８：２０、ヘブル書１３：５）
さあ！神様に身をゆだねて、力づけてもらいましょう。そして、彼のために闘い、勝利を得よう！！！
